SEPTIC TANK PUMPING AND CLEANING

For an average family of four, it is recommended that you pump your septic tank every three years. Like changing the oil in your car, pumping your septic tank is periodic maintenance, which is necessary even though there are no apparent problems. You must pump your septic tank to remove the build up of inorganic matter that accumulates over time.

Don't let your tank sneak up on you! Pump your septic tank before you have any issues. If your septic system is backing up, you probably have more issues than a full tank!!

Waiting for a problem to arise with your septic tank can damage the septic system, clog the effluent disposal fields or cause a septic backup costing you time and excess money. Emergency Pumping and Plumbing wants to make your routine septic pumping and cleaning as hassle-free as possible.

Once you become a customer of Hopper Septic and Excavating, we will kindly remind you via postcard or email when your next septic tank pumping is recommended.
In order for your septic tank to stay properly maintained, there must always be a healthy colony of bacteria living, eating and digesting waste within the septic tank. After the septic tank is pumped, a small amount of sludge will remain in the bottom of the septic tank. This promotes bacteria growth, which is necessary to breakdown solids.
It is extremely important to properly maintain your septic system in order to prevent problems and to preserve the life of your septic system. See the illustration below for an example.
